Union Jiu-Jitsu is more than a martial arts school—it’s a close-knit community right here in Chatham-Kent. Built on respect, teamwork, and mutual support, we help every student navigate their unique journey.
Union Jiu-Jitsu officially opened its doors in 2021, but its foundation was built before that—in a converted garage during the uncertainty of the pandemic. What started as a small training space created by Adam, Joe, and Pat quickly evolved as the community grew alongside us.
The goal was never just to create another gym. It was to build a space that reflected the Chatham-Kent community and made Jiu-Jitsu accessible to anyone willing to step on the mats. A place where beginners feel welcome, experienced practitioners feel challenged, and everyone has back-up.
Take a quick tour of our facility—from the entrance and sign-in desk to the locker rooms and mat space.
Our coaches are 100% committed to the growth and health of our students and the community. All instructors are certified through Respect In Sport, bring years of experience working with youth and adults, and operate under the guidelines of the Ontario Jiu-Jitsu Association.
